Well, this week has been relatively boring. Each day at work seems to blend into the next. However, my sleep schedule has been all screwed up the last two weeks. As most of you know, I am going to be coaching baseball this year. Starting last week, every Tuesday and Thursday, all the athletes in the school come to school early (6:15) to attend a speed camp held by the weight lifting coach. I have to be there as one of the coaches to help and and supervise. I really cant add anything to the camp because I was never known as a speed demon. However, I am still pretty sure I can beat this guy in a footrace. With the camp starting at (6:15) I have to be there around that time as well. It wouldnt be that bad if Arizona had day light savings time like the rest of the country. Laughlin is 1 hour behind Arizona. So when I have to be at school at 6:15, I actually have to be there at 5:15 Laughlin time. With it taking me a half hour to get to school from my apartment, I am waking up at 4 am. Welcome to the real world I guess....
The one interesting thing that has happened this week was I heard a rumor that MTVs show made was going to be at River Valley. I didnt believe the gossip because frankly I thought the students were wrong. Well, one day during my prep period I went to pick up some papers on the copier and I saw a camera crew interviewing some students. Again this is a rumor, but I heard one student at the school wants to be turned into the prom queen. So when the new season of made returns, look for the Scorpion King to make it big. I knew once I started this blog back up I would hit it big.
Stay out of the heat (it is 70 degrees and sunny every day) and watch out for Scorpions.
